UE3P developed an automated torpedo defense system for large deck ships consisting of an active sonar transmitter, active and passive receive sensors, and digital signal processing. UE3P developed innovative signal feature extraction algorithms and target classification architecture while leveraging mature beamforming, signal processing and tracking technologies to address the problem of automatic classification for operator alert. UE3P is applying innovative Direction of Arrival (DoA) estimator algorithm technology for improved passive ranging and localization capabilities.
